PLUGGED TALK: THE INTRO

Hey PLUGGED BABES...Welcome to my very 1st blog!

I'm so excited to share with you guys. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Bianca & I'm from Baltimore. I am so many things: a black woman, a mother, fiancé, daughter, friend, sister, & more...but let's get more into why you're here. I am an entrepreneur, the owner of PLUGGED... "PLUGGED By Bianca M" to be exact. Where do I begin? Wow its really been 7 years, and just to think it started as only a thought. I remember writing it down on a piece of paper a year before I launched. I wasn't sure of how I was going to get it done...especially being as though 2 of my biggest inspirations & influences were no longer here to share this big moment with me. I love & miss you both so much & I hope you girls are proud! Crazy thing is, this subconsciously gave me the push I needed, and I wouldn't be me if I didn't go for it.

I've always been a girly girl for as long as I can remember, even growing up in a house full of all boys. It started with the church dresses and ruffle socks, if you know you know ha ha. My grandmother always made sure I had the latest 'fits, furs, & jewelry...and what's a 'fit without the perfect purses to match. So funny to see things come full circle.

I've always been a hustler & that I got from my momma. I started off doing hair at a very young age, just ask all my friends who they came to to make sure their hair was laid. They would swear I would've had my own hair salon lol. Hair is something that I was really good at but my passion led me in a different direction. I've always had a love for jewelry & accessories, so when I finally stopped being afraid & second guessing myself I began PLUGGED in December of 2015. To start my business was no shock to my friends as they all were so ready when I mentioned it to them. Looking back, this has been more than I could ever imagine. The jewelry part of the business was doing great and it kept me excited...but honestly, business is like a baby, the same way we want our kids to grow, we want the same for our businesses. After years of wholesaling, I was starting to feel like...I didn't want to feel like I was just selling shit, when I knew I was in this to build a brand! So in the middle of the pandemic, when we were forced to be still, I started to really create. The following year in May (2021) I released my very first handbag, "THE PLUGGED BAG". I had it all planned out, I knew exactly how it was going to go, so I thought. GOD had his plans as well & whewwww. I was so excited because something that I actually designed, created, & prayed over you guys actually loved! I was so damn nervous but it felt so right! Welcome to "PLUGGED TALK".
